Have you ever heard that allegory or parable about a person who is unable to see the vast forest because they are standing too close to a large tree that is obstructing their view? Well, it is a pretty much speaking about being so close to a problem that you can’t see the bigger picture. The moral is to recognize you are too close, and you have to step back to see the full scope of the situation. So, do you have a tree blocking your view? Are you having problems seeing the big picture?
DAILY ONE CARD READING
My guides kindly informed on my card pull that I did and do at times. I pulled my daily card and got the card “Observer” from Collen Baron-Reid’s wonderful deck, Wisdom of the Oracle. Note, I am not being paid to mention this. This deck is one of my favorites. I was pleasantly surprised because the part that resonated with me, was the part of stepping back and observing what is going on around me. This is something I logically know and yet when I am faced with challenges I find I get so caught up in the drama of what I am experience. It becomes hard to even remember there is a world outside of mine. Thankfully I have learned a thing or two 😉 over the years and took some time to reflect on the cards meaning in my current day and circumstances.
LESSON
What did I learn about today’s card and its message? Sometimes when you are caught up in the drama in your life, there are often things going on behind the scenes that are lining up to solve the problems. There are times when you slow down you are able to see their workings. At other times you have to trust, have faith and know without knowing how that Spirit is at work. Your main work is to keep connected to the outcome you are hoping for and get out of Spirit’s way.
By staying connected and aligned to your desired outcome, you remain ready to receive Spirit’s call in the event there are any actionable parts you have to engage in. Remaining stressed or focused on the pain of the challenging situation, puts you on the wrong frequency. As such, you end up working harder, going against the current, followed by walking uphill. Admirable when you success, assuming you do, but not efficient.
THE RIGHT FREQUENCY
There is this wonderful analogy a friend of mind once shared with me regarding hearing Spirits. In truth, it was likely the first message about law of attraction I ever received but did not know it at the time. I will summarize it here, but know it has been years since she initially told me this and I liked it revamped the story abit. 😊
Her story went something like this, “For you to connect to Spirit/God, you have to be on the right frequency. Imagine yourself as a radio with an antenna. If you want to hear Spirit’s Radio Station on FM 100, you have to turn the dial to that station. It makes sense right?
So now take your problem situation into account. Let’s say you are currently aligned to stress frequency FM radio 98. FM Radio 98 GHz’s frequency has you feeling anxious, sad, perhaps angry and feeling trapped by your circumstances coming at you on that radio frequency. You would likely change the channel if this were the case, but because of social conditioning we stay in the rut and “tough it out”. But what would happen if we chose to turn the dial?
What a novel idea? Make the choice to reach out my hand and actively turn the dial to explore alternative frequencies with their respective radio programs. What would happen if through your exploration, you sought and found Spirit’s FM Radio 100 frequency? It stands to reason that you would then be able to receive, clearly decode and understand the messages on that station.
The possibilities would be endless, and the mishaps likely reduced. You would be able to hear messages like Spirit or your angels telling you to step back and having built a relationship of trust over time, you would adjust behavior accordingly and avoid unnecessary mishaps in your life. I say unnecessary, because some challenges are there with the purpose of helping you grow and evolve in this manifested version of yourself.
STEP BACK AND GET PERSPECTIVE
What if taking a different perspective or looking at things differently mean changing the colored lenses we look through, distance ourselves from obstacles or the things we listen to that program our way of handling things. It may be worthwhile to approach things from a different angel and be open to guidance to navigate new and different ways of doing things.
I say this with love, because being a Leo, I can be hardheaded and when I am on a path it can be hard to stop my momentum, but what I learned with this card today is being too driven to do things the way you think they should be, may shut out opportunities to learn easier or more effective ways to handle things from Source or people around you. There was a time in my life took pride doing the tough jobs that no one wanted to do and showing how easily I did it. Truth, that was an outright illusion! Although some task were done with ease, they often came with some sort of cost to my well-being.
Stepping back and observing the people, situation and the flow of things going on regarding the challenge you are facing, may feel akin to doing nothing, but in essence it’s not. Consider looking at it as, you are recognizing what is in your control to handle and what isn’t. When you know you are not skilled in a certain area or things are not working out despite you trying to fix it, you ask for help and await the answer.
RECONGNIZE WHAT IS IN YOUR CONTROL
Your job in this case it to set the intent and define it. This is similar to creating a S.M.A.R.T goal; doing the parts you can and delegating the rest. In this case you part is to stay connected to the essence of your goal and leave how it manifests and its timing up to Spirit. Besides, you can probably use the break. 😊 At least, doing it this way, you conserve your energy, get to take in the full picture and be rested so if or when Spirit calls on you to do a part, you will be ready roll and enjoy the journey!
